  • M.A.K. 4" Fixed Drop Point, Black Cerakote Blade - Synthetic Handles

    THE MULTIPLE ANIMAL KNIFE (MAK)

THE LAST HUNTING KNIFE YOU'LL EVER HAVE TO BUY

The M.A.K. was designed with the heavy user in mind. The intention when designing this knife was maximum versatility and durability. The result is a design that can be personally configured to perform just as perfectly on the hunt, as it does down range. We wanted a knife that was, without exception, as tough as we could possibly offer. The M.A.K. is the result of that.

The M.A.K.'s grind, and blade geometry lend to excellent edge retention. The titanium barrels, and top-rated handle materials resist corrosion as well as adding to our exceptional handle strength.

We think all this makes the M.A.K. the toughest, most long-lasting custom hunting knife available anywhere.

    Proudly made in Anchorage, Alaska.

    • Elmax, M390, N690 or K110  Blade Steel
      • Elmax is a powder metallurgy stainless steel created by Bohler-Uddenholm. It is corrosive resistant due to its high Chromium percentage. It also has excellent edge holding capabilities. It is a fairly easy steel to sharpen and it becomes razor sharp due to the powder metallurgy process and the limited impurities.
      • Bohler M390 stainless steel is one of the recent wave of “super steels” heralded by knife makers all over the world. It has characteristics of high hardness and excellent corrosion resistance. This means you’re going to get a very fine edge that retains it sharpness even through hard use, with little to no patina. Introduced and manufactured by Bohler-Uddeholm, M390 is a powdered steel utilizing 3rd generation technology. In industrial applications, it is often used in screws, barrels, and in injection molding. Bohler’s specifications claim a Rockwell hardness of 60 – 62HRC, putting it in the higher echelon of stainless knife steels. M390 is called a “micro clean” steel and takes a mirror finish very well. It has minimal dimensional changes and is very resistant to vibrations and mechanical shock
      • K110 is a cold work tool steel from Austria. Analogue K110 is better known as D2 tool steel. It is a dimensionally stable, high carbon, high-chromium (12%) steel. Particularly suitable for air hardening it also has good toughness. Due to its strength and durability, K110 has excellent characteristics for a blade. Although high in carbon, K110 is not easily oxidized and does not corrode.
      • N690 is an extremely ubiquitous and popular steel among knifemakers in Europe. Strength and toughness are comparable to that found on VG-10 or 154CM. This steel has extremely good corrosion resistant properties.
