The Fisher was designed with the heavy user in mind. Made with a special inhouse made steel, we wanted the durability of the of classic spring steel but the rust resistance of modern stainless. Thus the 3DK Fisher came into existence
 
The Fisher's grind, and blade geometry lend to excellent edge retention. The titanium barrels, and top-rated handle materials resist corrosion as well as adding to our exceptional handle strength.
Many fisherman and semi professional fisherman ( charter boats ) have reported being able to process up to 30 halibut and other large fish without the need to sharpen.

Micarta & G-10 handle material in a plethora of colors:
Black Micarta, Orange G-10 & Pink G-10
G-10 is a high-pressure fiberglass laminate, a type of composite material. It is created by stacking multiple layers of glass cloth, soaked in epoxy resin, and by compressing the resulting material under heat until the epoxy cures. Its as exceptiuonally resillent and hardware material that will last far longer then almost any other material we offer
Micarta is a brand name for composites of linen, canvas, paper or other fabric in a thermosetting plastic. It was originally used in electrical and decorative applications by Westinghouse. It is an extremly hardwearing and gripping material. It can discolor over time and is suseptible to water damage if fully submerged for many hours. However we feel the amount of grip it provides(even when wet) is worth the small trade off.
